We all enjoy Nike, Travis Matthews, Adidas, Peter Millar and other big name Golf apparel companies. However, those companies carry a hefty price tag. Not everyone can afford a $40.00 polo or $50,00 pants. I have found some great alternatives that are durable, affordable and still provide a country club look.
Ben Hogan apparel is sold at Walmart and will not disappoint you. They have shorts with multiple patterns and solid colors for $13.00 a pair. They have a wide variety of polos, some patterns are a little outdated, but also feature some modern patterns along with solid color choices. These retail for around $13.00 each. The fit is fantastic and extremely durable. I have had 2 pairs of shorts and 3 polos for almost a year now and they haven't shrunk or shown any signs of wear and tear. All apparel is dry fit and extremally comfortable.
Zero Xposure was another great find for dry fit shorts and pants. These are sold at Sam's Club. The only thing I don't like is they only have 1 back pocket. Besides that it's a great value for $10,00-$20.00 a pair. Dry fit, comfortable and durable. They usually have them in black, blue, khaki and grey. Greg Norman polos are a killer find at Sam's Club. If you time it right you can scoop up Shark Polos for $5-$10 each. All in different color combos, dry fit and super comfy.
Remember there are always alternatives to the popular big name brands for a fraction of the price, The brands I mentioned are all durable, affordable, fit great and still have that country club feel.
