Located 25 minutes from the heart of Las Vegas, is an absolute gem of a course. Las Vegas Pauite sits on Sovereign Land owned by The Pauite Tribe. It is a 54 hole layout across three courses Snow Mountain, Sun Mountain and WOLF. The facility also features two practice areas complete with chipping, putting, sand traps and a large range. Practice areas are complimentary with a tee time, they also offer daily and yearly range plans for those that want to utilize the facilities. Full Line Pro Shop, F&B Outlets and Lessons are all available as well.
Pete Dye designed three of the nicest courses on the West Coast. Each course offering a little something different. Snow Mountain (Nu-Wav-Kaiv) comes in at 7,164 yards, with wide rye grass fairways and multiple holes featuring water hazards. Dye has his signature railroad bunkers spread across this course. Sun Mountain (Tav-Ai-Kaiv), is a modest 7,112 yards with rolling terrain and some of the most gorgeous views in the state. Sun also has four tee box selections. Finally, we have WOLF (Kwetoo-Unuv) coming in at a staggering 7,604 yards. For someone that can't hit a driver, lets say its a long day when I play WOLF. This tops the yardage record for all Vegas Courses, so if you want to smash your driver with reckless abandon this is the place. You can choose from five tee box options. The highlight of WOLF is the stunning Island Green on 15. I could only imagine how many balls are in the water around this green.
This course is in perfect condition year round. The fairways are perfectly trimmed, no dry spots. Divots are replaced daily, no dead spots anywhere. Challenging and long course, but fun and playable. The scenery is breathtaking, surrounded by mountains and enjoyable desert landscape. Have a lot of water throughout the courses as well. Don't get me started on the greens. WOW !!! Pure Greens, impeccable maintained, no ball marks and just perfect !!! This is my go to course for a weekly round. It's hard to find a more well maintained course in Vegas that offers everything this has. Playing a round with close friends on the perfect track is what golf is all about. The members and staff are the nicest I've encountered in Vegas. Staff is happy to be there and take care of whatever you need, members are fun, entertaining and super accommodating. Golf Now usually has this course for a great deal. You can't go wrong playing any of the three courses. It is an absolute treat to get out there and enjoy these tracks.
